How will PLC monitor air quality at the staging yard?

PLC will install an Aeroqual portable air quality monitor to determine measurable levels of particulate matter. This instrument has a laser particle counter that can quantify particulate matter down 10 microns (0.01 millimeters). The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) use this particulate size to establish permissible amounts of atmospheric particulate matter caused by dust-producing activities. The project’s environmental compliance manager will analyze and compare measured results with the EPA’s 24-hour standard and background measurements. Air quality measurements will be taken in accordance with TCEQ requirements.
